Pool- They have 2 pools one being a children's pool and the other is a very large pool with integrated jacuzzis and a swim up bar. Its easy to see why this is one of the best places to stay in Puerto Vallarta. With excellent beaches and water sports, this city gives you the opportunity to get closer to nature, at its most unique. At the Riu, you can do that like a boss. They also have Suites and jacuzzi suites. Junior Suite, Some rooms available with a Sofa Bed. During the day, you can check the schedule for water aerobics, beach yoga, beach volleyball, and kids activities if they are with you. This is an excellent hotel, 5 star food and service, excellent rooms, but king size beds have hard mattresses and pillows. In addition to the jetted tub in the room, we had our own private jacuzzi out on the balcony facing the ocean. I almost squealed with excitement for you! Unlike some of the resorts that are built right up to the beach, Riu has left a lot of beach area, especially with shaded areas which people really like. The staff is also really good at circling the pool taking orders, so you really dont even have to go as far as the pool bar.
