I had same issue with a tune from a Fl tuner, tried another Tampa area tuner and way better drivability. So I was looking around on Lund's website just out of curiosity (and thoughts about future mods I want to do), and I noticed that he doesn't say anything anywhere on his site about tuning any model mustangs that are older then 2011. Your GT500 has a Ford Tune uploaded from the Ford ProCal Tuner (located in the trunk) , It's the same tune put into the GT500KR. It runs awesome. However, I think Bama is perfect for you.

I had bama for my old 05 gt which is why Im inclined to getting it for my new gt but I keep seeing that its not good. So what brand tune did u get? I upgraded GT350 manifold/LU 47 injectors/JLT. I cant lieI have been based on a past experience, little 'concerned' by canned tunes. But with that said I would think Steeda and bama tunes have to be in the top 5 out there. Maybe go with the boss intake or something like that. no matter who you ask their tune will be the best one for your car. Apparently it has problems on the 13s due to the hood vents and water on the filter or whatever.

Some of these guy are right to get suspension mods cuz it has so much power now that your gonna need it. my dealer told me to just take the tune off and come in.

Are you manual or auto trans? Everyone has a different opinion on tuners. The Lund tune we discussed is in my Black Shelby.

I'd agree, just based on the tune that Kurtdog had put on the then his now my, GT500. Well, if this isn't a loaded thread topic. I feel skeptical about ditching the warranty.
Other people on here will tell you that it is more of a dress up part then anything else. But with that said I would think bama tunes have to be in the top 5 out there.

Tested at the track same day, before/after trans tune loaded. His tunes are nothing short of an amazing balance of power, safety and drivability. I certainly don't have a 5.0 but based on reading various mustang forums and speaking with some hardcore 5.0 enthusiasts, Lund and AED are favorites.
I bought the SCT X4 through Palm Beach Dyno and got a tune with it. Makes things much easier when they are trying to dial things in.
If you love Ford Mustangs and just about anything related to them, you can probably find something interesting here on a daily basis. Im working with Jon and Alex at Lund right now doing datalogs. I tried SCT canned tunes and Bama tunes before turning to Mike Rousch, and would never go back to them. JavaScript is disabled. As for Tuner Companies, PBD above, Lund Racing, Hypermotive and others are great places to get tunes for your car. Mike Rousch at Mid Atlantic Performance works magic with Coyote Automatics.
