It really does feel like you are in a time warp in London in 1945. Fully half of the outlets didnt work. If the fly in the ointment is that the breakfast is too American, it is too simple. This is one of the hotels in Frontenac with Free Parking. Room was very clean and seems to be well appointed as to bed and nice pillows and such. Yes, parking is available free of cost at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac. There was a small parking lot across from the hotel, but it did not have a fence around it or anything. But at least it was able to get cool enough to be comfortable temp wise. Extras include free toiletries.Sausage, eggs, and waffles are just some of the items you will find in the free hot breakfast served daily. Overall it wasnt a bad stay, but it also wasnt without its problems. Everyone is friendly and helpful at the desk including on late arrival.

If I had stayed at a $50/night hotel I would have understood, but at the price I paid I would expect some sort of basic security and customer service. They booked me a room at another hotel close to the city (the Union Station hotel), took care of the parking expense there, and didn't charge me for that night's stay Then, I was brought back to the Hilton the next day with early check in, 2 breakfast vouchers, unlimited Starbucks for 2 days from the lobby, free parking, a free upgrade to the top floor with the best view, and the BEST customer service out there. The A/C is of the type that has no continuous fan to help cover the noise of the neighbors . We felt spoiled and slept like babies. Block related, Frank Buster Wortman was a regular customer at our steakhouse (The Pilot House) located on the second floor of the building where guests would check in.
