While it did remove my hair, I also felt lile I was scrapping my skin up with how hard you have to push down to remove the thicker hair. Also I've found that if I do this regularly, before long I don't have to do it as often because somehow it does seem to inhibit the growth. The issue with this product is not just that it doesn't adequately remove hair, it removes your skin with it. You have to work in circular motion, 3 times clockwise, 3 times counter clockwise, until the hair is removed. Haven't tried it on my legs and probably won't.
The only reason I can think of that youd need this product is if youd need to be clean-shaven as youre getting off an airplane. I put on some anti-acne cream to get down into the pores, so hopefully that will keep me from getting any kind of break-out. This should be sold at the hardware store instead of beauty stores. It was called Hair Off Mitten. Just find a fine grit sandpaper and rub it against your legs. I used Skin so soft by Avon and it did not work at all. It feels like sandpaper. I did a search for the Hair Off Mitten and found out that it is still sold today. What I dont like about it is that you have to wait for the hair to grow at least 1/2 (it recommends a full 2 inches of hair!) I wish I could give this 0 stars. This product only works on longer hair and does not help at all with stubble. It worked okay on coarse hair, and did a really lovely job of exfoliating, but ranged from "not good" to "useless" vs fine hair, depending on how dense the hair was.
