I'd give these 5 stars if they had more (any) arch support.
I purchased these ballet flats because I wanted at least one "good" pair. I think these shoes will last much longer than inexpensive ones they replaced. On the con side: I wear a standard size 6 and ordered the same size thinking I'd be good but unfortunately my toes just barely hit the front edge. This doesnt really change my opinion of the brand. Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2012. I thought the gold might be a little too "lam" and shiny, but it is not. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness. Unfortunately, I ended up returning the item. I always trust Lucky Brand to deliver well made clothing, and now I know they also deliver well made shoes! These shoes are not leaving for a different size because I love them! I can wear these barefoot and keep them on while I walk, but with socks the inside is just too slippery on my foot comes right out. Also, these type of flats can make your feet sweat a lot. I usually wear an 8/8.5; I got these in the 9, and will probably get a 9.5 for my next pair. To be honest, these shoes are of such soft leather that I am sure they will stretch. I hope I am wrong because they are darn cute. Highly recommend! Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2014. This page works best with JavaScript. That was really disappointing. I usually wear a nine or 9 1/2 but took a chance on the is since they were so cute and such a great deal. The only complaint I would have is that they don't "breathe" well, so wear thin socks or you run the risk of stinky shoes. Although these are light weight, the sole is substantial enough to justify the price. Bought these in champagne to replace a pair of cheap silver flats and am glad I chose this color - subdued, but still metallic. These work perfectly. Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2017. I figured that the size 10 wouldn't be too huge because of the elastic sides. I love these shoes. It gives a touch more support to the shoe, which others don't have. Sooo many compliments came my way and will for you, too, I am sure! The quality is great and for the price deal I will keep them and try putting a little insert in the toe or a heel pad maybe. Both are suede, however the Emmie style's suede is tissue paper thin and I dont think will last long. I still love them. And comfortable too. The painted/leather ones tend to wear around the toes. It's not a huge deal when you're just standing, but if you're planning on walking it starts to rub after a while. So, I got them, and they don't have a lot of support but they are cute if you aren't at a job where you stand a lot. I wore my last pair of metallic flats out; they are very versatile, and I think I'll be able to wear these just as much. Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2014. Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question. the first couple times I wore them the elastic part rubbed the top of my feet a bit, but that has subsided. I'd go for one of the satin types, like the teal or purple, or cloth types of Emmie flats if you want them to last. I recently had to start wearing orthotics at all times, and it's hard to find shoes that will hold my foot AND the orthotics. Considering though that the design is camo its not like I will be wearing them daily. Very well made & cute, too! If I had ordered these in black or some other color that would be worn more often I may have returned them. She wore them to school the first day and said they felt great. But that's hard to find in flats. These are my 2nd pair of Lucky brand flats.
These shoes are wonderful. Enough to order another style. I wear an 8, and these are true to size and do not hurt or rub anywhere. I found this shoe when looking for a metallic flat to replace my Frye "Carson" flats (which I also recommend, but they cost a lot more). They have a bit of a rubber sole on the bottom but are pretty flexible so don't expect any arch support. I am pleased with the Lucky flats. I did not and do not recommend going up as others have said to do. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we dont use a simple average.
It actually has a little bronze in it, which tones it down. She wore them to school the first day and said they felt great. The fit is true to size..even for my wide foot. I Love the mini sole on the bottom, too. They're very cute, and I wear them almost daily--even trying to decide which color I want next.
They are cute and comfy but I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of these compared to the Santana. I definitely recommend these! It's a good, not-too-flashy gold that goes with a lot of things. They are made well and if her foot grows, that's ok, because they fit me :), Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2013. I got these in the camo. If I had it to do over, I would order my regular size (7M) and not the 1/2 size (7 1/2M) larger. When wearing flats, I keep my toenails really short, just because it's more comfortable that way. On the pro side: I get tons of compliments anytime I wear them!
