I used to love it, but I remember the scent quite different from what it smells like now. It's a like for me though I would not repurchase. I don't know how someone is able to smell anything than tropical thick fruit and clean musk. Definatelly worth trying! If someone wishes to swap with me, I will be more than happy to do so. They can have it. 6/2018 - I regret blind buying this from Amazon, after watching YouTube reviews regarding this as a great warmer-weather, compliment-garnering fragrance.
Perfect for a 14-17 year old girl. It smells soooo niceclean, freshI'm looking around the kitchen, trying to locate the source of the scentthen realize it's me, it's this perfume. At that price, I would probably buy it again at some point. Guys, give it a shot if you dare Marissa Zappas Announces A New Collection + A Giveaway! It is a casual scent that can be worn anytime of day or year. Or maybe there really are people out there who smell good in this. This one smells like the 90's to me.. For me it's one of the worst frag i've ever tried, you can easily have headache, 100% sugar in sugar, hit in your nose, no excuses. The next turns, however, are not that much of a good scent experience. For the price it is worth it. Umema: The Perfume That'll Never Be Smelled. Well, I guess I found ways to use it. I love this perfume! I've had a bottle of this for years and used to really dislike it. i won't be rebuying but it was nice while it lasted. Red Jeans was one of the first perfumes I bought for myself back in the early 2000s and was my signature for years. I returned it immediately without even spraying it because I could already smell it through the spray nozzle, it was so strong and sour smelling like chemical cleaning products. I wish they can make the Green Versace for men. I have no idea why I bought this. This to me is a floral slightly fruity, soapy laundry detergent scent. In the 90s it always reminded me of gummibears when I smelled it on others. Im on a perfume binge, yes Ive fallen off the wagon and seem to be purchasing a bottle every two weeks. A family member came back from Switzerland and this was a gift from her along with Blue Jeans for my younger boy cousin. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. Someone wrote that its like fruity shampoo and I agree, but there are other layers in this, too. It gives me headaches and the creaminess of the dry down smells good BUT irritating. I love it. Keep it light though, spray a little.. But I can't. It lasts long too. I honestly don't fully understand the hate this perfume gets! I can definetly smell rose as a dominant main note with violets on the side. *Shudders*. By the way red is a very appropriate colour for this one. But it was a nice scent very safe, blended well nothing overpowering. The following day, i bought it and the next morning, paired it with my red dress and bag. I can't put my finger on what it is, but it makes me feel sick. One or two sprays lasts the whole day on me and gives a lovely scent. It's always the type of scent that leaves the trail, fills the bus, walks with you like a cloud but not in a nauseating way. The bottle is brand new and I don't want to throw it away. This perfume smells like when you wash your hair with a strongly scented, fruity-floral shampoo, and the wind dries them. it's a fresh scent of peach and roses, perfect for fall. Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, etina, Italiano, , Polski, Portugus, , , Nederlands, Srpski, Romn, , , , . Also very synthetic and gives me a headache. I am quite a fan of synthetic smells, I love the synthetic Jasmine in Alien and the synthetic cherry in Black Cherry Merlot. But about an hour later those violets came out to play- it reminded me of these candied violet pastilles my grandma would have.
The bottle itself is very cute and vintage looking. This is a strong dislike, as it is a strong, sharp floral. She and her cheerleader friends loved it. etc. Three sprays or more gives me a headache. There is a big difference on formulations between the Versace Giver Spa and the Euroitalia (the most recent) .Giver Spa is stunning and well mixed ..I have Euroitalia also but its a bit too metallic fake. This synthetic, plastic quality thankfully died away, and I was left with sweet peaches that were on the verge of being spoiled, giving it a boozy quality like Peach Schnapps. So I just bought this today at TJ Maxx. A long time ago I used to get lots of compliments when I wore this. Fact. Anyone could pull this fragrance off. It goes on beautifully and I get all that beautiful currant, but then "bam" there comes a wonky scent that I just can't lay a finger on. I bought this from a former schoolmate, who was closing down her beauty parlour. Who the flying fuck at versace gave the green light on this? It smells like there is only a single floral note difference. + I used up this perfume in about three months - a record for me. I used to have it when I was in high school. In fact I hated the sweetness so much that it seemed to last longer than I wanted it to, but the reality is it lasts about 4-5 hours, and the dry down is bland too. It smells like floral clean laundry and Im usually not a fresh detergent scent person but because this has that very prominent rose floral scent its pretty. I thought my nose would fall off when I tried this on Like an artificial sweetest of the sweet laundry detergent from hell. I also love the packing.
Cheap, but not worth the disappointment. It's beautiful. I do not perceive any of of the notes clearly, to me it's just a synthetically cloying smell mixed with rotten alcohol-soaked fruit. It was the most hideous bottle I had ever seen. I love red jeans, it's like a long lost love, and its impression is eternal. The peach give juicyness, what can you need in a hot day if not a drink to appease. For such an affordable price it is very long lasting and lovely. I dont know why I notice a very strong rose note in here. I think this is a good layering perfume- wearing it with other fruity floral scents really steps it up a little. It's not too sweet either which is great. It is such a generic fruity smell and although I almost finished the whole bottle, the only complement I got was from a single, very persistent bee at the train station for days on end who was keen on the smell (as I wore it to work just to finish the bottle somewhere I don't care much about). It's ok, not a must have! I want to start off by saying this is a lovely perfume and I recently re-purchased it. I just don't find it interesting enough. Smells like bug spray. One of her customers had ordered this, but she had never showed up again. Unfortunately this scent does not fit me and it is too sweet for me. Great for those days youre running late or just not in the mood to take time and search for a fragrance that suits your outfit or mood. I love this scent. I think the addition of freesia and waterlily give the floral notes a beautiful fresh edge. This way, it irritates me to the lesser degree. However in practical it is overwhelming for me. Everytime I put it on I get headaches. Rose and violet mixed with sweet peaches and apricot on a sweet vanilla, musk and sandalwood base. i've been using this perfume since i was a freshman in college (1997). It dries down to a manly fragrance left on the skin which I hate. Red Jeans was the soundtrack of my teen years. Gotta be honest didn't really like it in the beginning so I used it at home for 3days to check it and then my love for it began. Understanding perfume settles differently on each individual, I encourage you to give it a chance on yourself. In theory it has a great mixture of notes. I like it more now I'm older. This is way, way WAY too sweet for me. I get freesia quite clearly, and definitely the fruity scent of the peach-apricot accord. There is a common note in it that I also find in Crystal Noir that I can't get over. It's sweet, but it's got like this bitter smell which I like even though that doesn't sound good lol. I'm sorry to all the Red Jeans lovers out there. But any women of any age can appreciate the great container and beautiful color of the perfume--the bottle and container are kitchsy, fun, distinctive--real "Yippe ki yo ki yea, m--f--." Does deserve a place in my collection though and for the price I am not upset I purchased it. I loved this scent. I still like it though. It has a heavy, indiscernible and unpleasant smell. Something random made me reach into my frag fridge and spray Versace Red Jeans. At least that was how I viewed it as a teen. There are better fragrances with the same vibe, but this one smells just too chemical. I had 1 time test Red Jeans edt on my own skin.
I picked it up to try it out, and gave it away as well. It is definitely summery, and definitely a day time fragrance, but cloyingly sweet for my taste. Truly I am just. disturbed by its designer label. Versace Red Jeans is a fragrance that i'll always come back to. This is a touch a glamour to what is an otherwise safe everyday scent. AAAmazing! The composition is very jammy, sweet, girly, powdery and joyful in a classic and vintage way. And quite strong too. Somehow it manages to have balls to the walls crazy intense level sillage and longevity. I smelled this perfume and oddly enough I really like it which surprises me. And there's something light about the scent overall, even though I can definitely see it being a headache trigger for some. Of course the scents I love fade into oblivion after an hour or two, but this one is bloody immortal. She gets compliments from EVERYONE! I remember smelling this when it first came out and liking it, but when I got a sample recently that violet exploded in my face and smothered out everything else in this fragrance. Red Jeans Versus by Versace EDT Spra (16.91 USD), Buy it online BIG SALE on or Many items for sale on, Perfume rating3.51out of5 with2,389 votes. Definitely a classic and not expensive. I bought this on a whim.trusting the name Versace AND SINCE iT was in a pink bottle I was hoping for something rosy. I don't know why these specific memories came to my mind.
The blue jeans one for men is nice though. I used it quite a lot a few years ago, trying to convince myself that I liked it because the packaging and bottle are absolutely gorgeous. I like it, it mostly smells like peaches, roses and vanilla. Could pass for an bathroom air freshener. yes but it doesn't smell like the usual peach notes I smell in fragrances and fragranced products.
The dry down, hours later, is tolerable with a light peach, powder smell. I use it for my ' damn forgot to put on perfume before I left for work' fragrance. Top notes are Peach, Apricot, Freesia and Black Currant; middle notes are Rose, Violet, Lily-of-the-Valley, Water Lily and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Musk, Vanilla and Sandalwood. It's nice and casual to wear! However, for me nothing catchy and special. . Its very much a synthetic fruity scent and for some reason it reminds me of rotting fruits. I think it smells like a new car, with all those leather seats and stuff.
Honestly, I liked it the first time. This was my fourth and final perfume purchase from my adolescent and teenage years. I made pencil drawings in my room, I sprayed this on most of my friends and the furniture around me was made out of oakwood. This fragrance sits very close to my skin, and is hard for others to detect. Love perfumes with vanilla in them. worth the price as it's often on sale. In my opinion this is not a youthful fragrance as so many have indicated. I wish it was softer when first applying aswell as its a bit too in your face.
On my skin I get this fizzy character which is why I call it soapy ( when a soap foams up) This has been my fragrance to spray on my clothes and skin before I go workout and its crowd pleasing. Quick review since it's late but I got this as a gift and it smells mostly of dried apricot like you just opened a bag of them. I think I would like this more if the Freesia was a heart note. It is too innocent. i'm almost out. I used to like it,and that is when i was very young,in the 90's.Haven't tried it recently and i think after seeing it here i will.Hope i will like it now also. It's a good bedtime scent. The worst offering from Versace. I actually found a bottle of it - someone obviously agreed with my feelings and had left their bottle outside on their fence with a sign that said 'free'. Sillage right now--an hour after spraying--is like two rooms away, but don't know about longevity or whether there is any nuance in the drydown. It is a loud floral that needs a light hand, but I liked it and it worked with my chemistry very well. It was flowery and fresh but I think I like Blue Jeans more. It's so unique.. It's an under-$20 fragrance so for the price it's nice enough but I wouldn't re-buy it when I finish my current bottle. I love the bottle that delicate floral design that frames the perfume's name is gorgeous. I tried this on today and did not really like itit's ok, but nothing special and I wanted to wear something with a little more personalityso I thought I'll change it when I get to the house, I'll scrub it offran some errandsa couple of hours later I get home, open the cabinet to get a glass for some water and stop.what is that smell? I like the Blue Jeans for men and I buy it often for the male relatives. Exploring the Versace Jeans rainbow, I am now up to the notorious Red Jeans in its original formula from Giver, not Versus that seems to get so many bad reviews. Off-White Paperwork: A Quartet of Contrasts, Close Your Eyes, Relax, Breathe and Envision a Blue Light, Cacao In The Sun by Maison Tahit: Dipped Strawberries, WPC 2022 - Discovering Asafoetida with Galbanum Oil From Iran, A Brand New Victoria's Secret Fragrance: Bare, Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum Reserve Prive, Red Jeans Versus by Versace EDT Spra (. But now I've had it on for a few hours and that strong kind of artificial and plastic smell is gone. (Psychologists and psychiatrists pull up a couch) Anyway, I've been wearing Red Jeans with impunity, enjoying its powerful ersatz fruity top down to the cheap sandalwood and musk in the base. But this. this is almost rotting with synthetic dribbling peaches. Both are clear. Anyway, it just fades away in 10-15 minutes and it starts to develop into a less childish and more subtle, womanly perfume. I don't know if my mom used to wear it or if it smells like something in Germany or Italy, but it brings up memories of being there. It does take me back to the early/mid 90's, and for that reason it makes me smile. If you are on a budget, this perfume is perfect choice for work or party. I dont agree with the notes at all to me it smells like a powdery grapefruit scent. Become a member of this online perfume community and you will be able to add your own reviews. IT always takes me awhile to get to know a perfume and we are off to a good start. I tried to make silly justifications for keeping it. It's loud and sexy, and i love that this lasts so long on me (most perfumes last just about 2 hours and i can still smell this the day after), fragrant and not boring. Knowing that the scent would change, I was curious and bought it on a whim because the price is unbeatable! I loved the bottle design but the scent was pretty forgettable. Its a no fuss, pretty, simple scent that I can wear with a dress, or jeans. Freesia and water lily, very nice. The mix of Black Currant and Freesia gives me a headache (mostly the Freesia). Yes, it is a real 90s scent bomb, but that's what I like because the 90s were a great decade for me. For now, I am blissfully happy. A pleasant powdery fruity floral. Perfumes: 73,873 It's a bit more floral now, kind of fruity and it has a scent of berries. I guess I was curious based on all the contradicting reviews and it was on clearance and now it's on my vanity and I'm giving it the side-eye from across the room. This was a perfume I used to wear in middle school. Eventually gave it to a friend who likes sweet fragrances. There are white florals too. I loved it back then.
Definitely wont purchase this again. Instead it is full of super elegant peaches if that makes sense. The dry down seems powdery and there is nothing wonderful about the scent. It reminds me of a road trip with friends.
I tried to like this one. I hate this so much, I can't believe Versace made this. I loved being able to smell it in between classes. I've had this bottle for about 3 years and the more I wear it the more I hate it. First whiff is kids sweet medicine smell then dries down to green tea-ish scent. You can easily notice its powdery and musky structure when main notes start to hit surface and perfume stays like that literally for hours. I wear it only occasionally but I keep it in my fragrance wardrobe when I want to remember Paris in 1994. Awful . I would say it's good for mid twenties and up. I liked this smell on others and bought it for myself. I have been wearing it through out this summer. I was young and was really excited because of the canister it came with more than the actual perfume. It smells sweet¬ well blended, fruit, vanilla, somewhat almost fresh,a combination of floral fruit,it's not the worst, not the best, however I lIke the vintage feel&design of the bottle and the cute can!. Will always be in my fragrance collection. Mixes amazingly well w/ Chanel Cristalle eau Vert. The current formulation is terrible. It's also similar to several other floral/fruit combos such as flowerbomb and D&G Floral Drops. I love it,specialy in the spring! A lady in the office wears this and OMG she lights up the whole damn floor and she leaves gorgeous scent trails! I would use it as a keepsake holder of almost anything. Red Jeans was pretty much overwhelming peach cough syrup at first. This was purchased for me as a gift by my in laws, when I had requested Baby Rose Jeans. Don't like this at all, tried to wear it a few times and had to scrub it off every time. At the moment you can get the perfume really cheap. It smells very rosy and kind of smoked. It reminds me getting dressed cute and leaving the house during sunset and smelling flowers in the summer air by walking away. now I am 28. It doesn't smell like a cheap girly odor, I actually find it quite mature and mesmerizing. Perfect for t-shirt and jeans or for tomboyish looks, which happened to be my style during my teenage. Not my favorite, when I wear it for too long its headache inducing. Got this as a blind buy ($19 at Ross) thanks to YouTube reviewer (Rhonda!) I could not figure out what I was actually smelling. I saved a little decant of this for a trip down memory lane, but on my skin it's just too screechy to do more than just sniff (not wear). It is very feminine, it has a strong peach opening then dries down to a musky powdery floral. It is nice and inoffensive but nothing really happens. This was the strangest scent to me in the store. While I smell the fruit, it is equally, if not moreso, met with a harsh floral that overpowers. Hmm. This is my favourite perfume. It's very playful. Smells very clean , fresh, mix of light apricot and roses .I like this scent so much I found a dollar tree dupe of it called Red Wear , just for nostalgia .. Love it, I think Red Jeans is not everybody's cup of tea. I picked it up online for less than $20 for the 2.4 ounce. This is a nice safe classic perfume from the 90s. Too floral and sharp for my taste. I prefer peculiar and personal aromas which people associate with me. The only thing with Versace perfumes I noticed is that they can go off if you keep them for very long. The actual perfume, I like it enough to finish the whole bottle. I got this perfume as my last birthday gift, its really disappointing how bad this perfume smells.. The result of this mixture is almost similar to the original "Pleasures", maybe somewhat stronger-less peppery, but very nice to wear. Add me to the Versace Red Jeans Lover Club please! So whenever I sniff it, I remember my mom. What a surprise! Its very unique. It's not the same. Red Jeans is simple and feminine. It still smells the same but with a synthetic note I can't pin down- I still bought it just for nostalgia's sake. It is sweet but buffered by a powdery, woody breeze. It's just as bad as they said it was. However, after wearing it a few times around the person who bought it for me, I started to really enjoy the scent. Lasts about four hours before becoming a skin scent. Ick!!! Red Jeans by Versace is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. I bought this on a whim. I like peach in perfumes but Red Jeans is too synthetic. The scent feels well blended and soft, feminine and modern. it's like first love.. something that i won't forget.. it is sweet and strong and cheap but good enough for the price. Softens and gets a bit better on skin with time but still, it's a clear no for me! Even if the other design elements read a bit tacky, the way they are implemented lends visual interest. I get no rose, no peach, apricot or anything remotely girly. i bought this after reading the good reviews god i was so dissapointed in this i literally gave me an headache this smells gross.. sorry to say that i really hate this one since it was a gift giving wth great expectations, its a bit smoky unpleasant scent that last on me for a quite long time, which it would be nice if it didnt smell terrible.. I understand that this one is a classictht many of the you lived with it.it was a part of your nostalgiabut come on.im sorry but i despise the scenttoo strong too cloying.something's got to be wrong with this composition..it may be appelaing for those who grew up with this..but for the younger genits another pass from me.psits weird but i like the blue jean though. It smells stifling and old. Not noted here but I smell iris, not one of my favorite notes but in this formula it's very mild. My god i hate this scent. Smells very strong and offputting at first, the innicial scent is hard to describe, as it's almost like medicinal alchohol. The sweetness from the peach is still very much present in the dry down. I wish everything at this price point could have such a unique bottle. My husband gave me this perfume for my birthday. It dries down to green notes and Lily of the valley reminding me of a very soft Eternity. Good for all ages. I smell mostly roses and peach in this one. Agree with sweetnspicey; definitely peach shnapps-like quality. So I bought it and when it came today I couldnt open that Amazon box fast enough.
I like that it is a change from all of the gourmands out there and smells different. I so tried to love it, but everytime I wore it I got a massive headache. And I love the name of it too. It's a nice scent, nothing special. This was given to me as a Christmas gift a few years ago. The longevity is also honestly the worst out of any of the fragrances in my collection - it literally disappears within an hour. It's nice enough, but nothing special to me anymore. So I actually blind bought this one, it is very popular with women around my age (Im 23) and I have actually had quite a few people recommend it to me. If you like peach, violet and ylang ylang combination then it's for you. Try it, you just might like it! The packaging is cute, it seems like a classic, it came out the year I was born so I feel like I should own it for strange sentimental purposes. It was one of my worst. The formula never changed. Its a very ok scent. Really weird smell. I can see this my new fragrance being used very frequently. It's a very heavy scent on me, and it doesn't fade all that easily either. Classic, beautiful fruity floral. So being described as harsh, laud, synthetic, arrogant and screeching as well as soft, feminine, sweet, girly, pretty, gentle, rosy, babyand again seen as anything from boring and generic to sexy and even horny and more. Wouldn't mind using it every day. And I ain't mad!! Does the Versus bottle smell like the Versace bottle probably. Pleasant fragrance. Definitely not suggested for a 10 year old, but I was sooo intrigued by the red tin and the bottle inside that I HAD to buy it. Feeling the freshness and vigor of the notes and it spreads an awesome mood as i pass by. Good choice if youre looking for a relaxing, not overly sweet and inoffensive fragrance for warm days. Beautiful scent, shocked so many poor reviews. !!! What drew me to test this on myself? I agree that it is pretty synthetic- certainly not the worst I've smelled but I can completely get why people wouldn't be on board. A friend was wearing it, & I stalked her til I found out what it was..lol. Timeless and ageless. I'll write a second review sometime soon.
Overall I think its just very big on smelling like leather and roses. I always keep a stash of this. Keeping that on my vanity, but the jus won't get on my skin or clothes anytime soon. Love it;girly smell;long lasting;but I only buy it now on internet;it's not avaible in stores. It's the only perfume I would keep in my locker at school. I couldnt stop sniffing my arm. I had forgotten about this fragrance until a few days ago when I found it at a clearance sale. It was the second fragrance I ever bought with my own money, in 1995.
I can't put my finger on it, but this one smells and feels dated on me. It's strong, but coming from the 90's that was the "in" thing. At first sniff one smelt more like apples & one smelt more like honeysuckle but now I can't tell them apart just that they are different. Ive recieved it as a present so I have used to use it at home or simply for casual daily situations. Maybe back in the day it smelled more natural, less synthetic. It just worked on me. I disagree that it is a vintage scent. Well, Rose Jeans sounds wonderful, but it's too expensive, so I bought a really inexpensive bottle of Red Jeans. This is a strong fragrance but not sickening. The same applies to Bruno Banani's scents.
